Then everything seems normal again.
This can create a false sense of security.
TIA symptoms are the same as stroke symptoms, but they are temporary. The NHS notes that they may last from a few minutes to several hours and resolve completely within 24 hours.
The American Stroke Association says symptoms that disappear still require emergency assessment.
